@apoorplayer I’m 71 and have been making similar decisions about things, knowing that even with my plan / hope to live to 100 I have a fairly clear end point for things. This may be the last fridge we buy, for example, so we bought one we really like. We’ve also considered the trade off between getting things done now and enjoying them for 10+ years against waiting to do them, or doing them gradually. For example, we had landscapers put in a garden at our new house rather than gradually working on it ourselves. Interesting, isn’t it, how the equations change as we age.
