@danielpunkass I totally support the right of trans people to use appropriate bathrooms. What you're missing is that all women have endured inappropriate behaviour from boys / men all their lives. For some this is only random comments on how a woman should behave or wear her hair, for example. For a great many it includes rape and violence. A bathroom is an 'intimate' space. All people, of whatever gender or other identity should be able to use a bathroom without fear of inappropriate behaviour by others. I also know that a huge number of people who don't identify as straight or CIS also fear and are in danger of violence or assault. One solution is individual private cubicles that can be used by anyone, whatever their physical configuration.
