Report highlights urgent need for “life-changing” free dental care:
almost half of New Zealanders report unmet need for dental care, with higher rates still for Māori (54.1 per cent), Pasifika (57.2 per cent), those with disabilities (53.1 per cent) and those aged between 25 and 34 (57.2 per cent).

@Miraz I hear you. It's the same here. I wonder how many people die each year from lack of affordable dental care?

@AlexWolfe I'm sure someone will have those figures. Even so, it'd probably be higher as poor dental health is sure to contribute to other health things that could lead to death.
