Uurgh, with my iPad erased and then easily restored by bringing it near my iPhone, it’s setting up the email accounts again that’s a hassle. Go to the provider, download the special profile then hunt out the correct password.
I also wonder if my long-standing dissatisfaction with the iPad battery life is distorted by expectations set by my M1 MacBook Pro and iPhone 13 (and, for that matter, Kindle)?

I find the battery all depends on what you end up doing on the iPad. The password issue is annoying for my (lots of email addresses).

@Munish True. Mine seems to decline steadily while not in active use. Maybe some background process…

I put mine in airplane mode when not in use between sessions of use. I think that helps with background use of the battery.

re: battery life: do you have any smart home accessories? any time the battery life on my iPad has randomly dropped, it’s turned out that it’s turned into a home hub on its own

@decarbonization I do have a Netatmo weather station. Nothing else. I'll check the Battery Usage later. 😀
