I realise Micro Camp 2023 left me on a real high — took me all day to calm down afterwards. I’m really energised by the presentations, keynote and other discussions, the chats and what others have posted since.
I learned a heap, and now I’m so full of ideas, things I want to do and to think about!

I recently upgraded Mars Edit from 4 to 5, and I’m looking forward to seeing your presentation! I watched two of the four on Saturday (+ most of the SotU), but it was enough to make my head spin with new impressions.

@odd Enjoy. There are also links to my resources, which include a transcript and all the screenshots.

Cool! Looking forward to seeing it all. I have underutilized Mars Edit in the past, because I’m usually on my phone anyway. But the “download all posts” feature is so great to have, that it is worth it alone.

@odd I love MarsEdit for its ability to catch up to posts and for its ability to edit tags after posting. That is indispensable for me. I always forget to add the tags.

@ddykstal That is something I’ve debated with myself. Not sure if I’m going to continue having categories on my “serious” blog, but it’s great that you can go back and add them! On my casual blog I don’t have them.

Oooh I feel the same way! Actually to be precise, I feel like a tech-inept little kid who tagged along to the cooler smarter kids’ hangout and they were all really kind and talked to me.

I bought MarsEdit too! I’m excited to use it. I have had it before, but it never clicked. Your presentation got me psyched, and not just because of all the Voyager references. Which I loved of course.

@Annie Oh dear! One of the great things about Micro.Blog is in my experience it's a very kind community. We all have different levels of expertise about different things. I know a few things but the minute anyone talks about ActivityPub and json and the something something graph I'm utterly at sea! Time to start considering what you might present on in a year or two. 😀

😅 ha! Well it was a good feeling to learn from such kind people, overall just a lovely experience and I learned so much and am excited to learn more.

@Annie Higher praise not oft given voice! It too is one of my all time, would say hi again, fav experiences—and not just with tech either. Of course this really just indicates that a bounty of ineptitude is available to me at any particular moment. :-)
