Taking my 19 year old car in to get Dash error lights checked out. Could be an easy fix loose wire, or, my Internet research tells me, it could be super-expensive problems. Of course, I’m hoping for the loose wire. Meanwhile nervous about the 25 minute drive to the mechanic. 🚗
Leon Mika Could also be something like a faulty sensor. Our family car (a Toyota Corolla) had a bad NOX sensor in the exhaust which was causing the "check engine" light to show up. It turned out to be a pretty common problem with that model. The car was otherwise fine so we never really got it fixed either.
