As I watch The Path to Happiness: What Chinese Philosophy Teaches us about the Good Life and learn about so many male thinkers I have a nagging wondering about how women might have framed differing approaches to the world. Did those men cook, clean, raise children?

Indeed. All of humanity is missing contributions from centuries of women who could have taught us so much. We still have much to learn.

@fgtech I’m thinking — if they lived in a society that, let's say, ignored certain groups by characteristics (eg being female), how can they come to grips with the ways of the world? Their view must be partial at best and so their thinking must be limited and incomplete.
