Teishoku Traditional Japanese Breakfast
This week’s International Breakfast was a version of Teishoku Traditional Japanese Breakfast. It was delicious, though a bit of a faff to make. The omelette in particular was very yum. For various reasons we didn’t have any pickles, but their sharpness would have been good.

"faff", I haven't heard that word for a while. Is it more British/NZ than US, I wonder? I certainly don't hear it around here. The breakfast looks delicious, BTW.

@crossingthethreshold Probably my English heritage. Not sure most folks round here would use that word. 😀

Ooh, another delicious-looking breakfast!
I also use the word "faff", and that's without any recent English heritage, although I might've assimilated it from British children's books 😅️ Like you, I'm not sure it's a really common word around here, I just know that I say it…

There is someone up in Auckland who might use it. My sister lives there.
