Flax bushes are great. Birds, native and exotic, feed on the flowers. But the fibrous, stringy, tough leaves are hard to cut with a knife. They are also a nightmare when weedeating as they catch and wind round the head. That’s why I’m thrilled with my new flax cutter! Easy peasy!

Zoomed out view of a full flax bush. Low flax leaves above short grass with long grass just behind. Several small flax bushes in a grassy yard. Long handled knife with a curved blade with numerous small sharp teeth.
