This is peak hayfever time for me, and symptoms are starting to crank up. Trying to book for the nurse to give me a steroid shot, as that has helped the last 2 years. Of course, I had to advise that I have Covid-like symptoms of scratchy throat, runny nose etc. 🤷🏽♀️

Is that COVID symptoms? I’ve had that today, 😱 and a massive headache. Took a Paracetamol and I’m much better. Probably OK.
Hope you get that allergy shot soon. 😪🤧 It’s awful at peak season.
I’ve heard they now have both a birch 🌳 pollen pill, and a grass 🌾 pollen pill💊 that you only have to take once a year now, so I’m going to try that in the new year. 🥳💥

@odd We're surrounded by lupin bushes which flower in November and I'm really allergic to them. When I walk past one it's like a fork sticking into my nose and right up into my brain. It's almost painful. The steroid shot seems to be the only thing that works for this. Meanwhile itchy eyes and throat and nose…

Lupines spread so much too. For about 50 years ago the state road authority began sowing lupins in the roadsides, to prevent boredom for drivers. Now it has destroyed many of the native plants there, so they’re going to remove all the lupines. Well, easier said than done, they’ve found.
Hope you also got that eyesight thing checked out!
