Babylon 5 1994–1998, one of my all-time favourites. Set on a future space station, with a 5-season arc, it reached its peak in Seasons 3 and 4 with the war on The Shadows. Fabulous storytelling. I’ve rewatched this numerous times. 📺

I still remember checking the TV Guide every week to see when UPN would deign to schedule it. Tuesday at 2am? Friday at 1:30am? //@sproutlight

Yep, one of my all-time faves, too. I'm looking forward to rewatching it, probably after we finish our Star Trek rewatch (currently mid-TNG, so it'll be a while).

@sproutlight 👍 And it prodded other shows to actually have an arc, like ST:DS9, for example.

@Bruce Urk, that's obnoxious. In NZ it played on a weekend afternoon.

@dejus I think time is wearing on it a little, though. I stalled last year in a rewatch. Might have just been me…

B5 was amazing. Its absence from most of the streaming services and the lack of an HD release (unlikely we’ll ever get one) is a crime. I feel like it is the Blake’s 7 of my generation—a groundbreaking series that is nearly lost to history.

@petebrown Yes, it should at least be available somewhere like Netflix.

it used to be available on Amazon Prime here in the States, but disappeared from the service earlier this year.

@petebrown That's a pity. Pretty sure I have my own copies (I used to have all the DVDs and should have ripped them), but did start buying from iTunes Store umm last year.
