I love simplicity and silence. I enjoy taking photos of birds. I live at Waikawa Beach in New Zealand, and strive to be an actively decent human being. Numbers and the Making of Us: Counting and the Course of Human Cultures. We can count up to 3 innately, but beyond that it’s all fuzzy. Some cultures use other Bases, like Base 27. Some cultures just don’t count up at all. Fascinating.
