David Sinclair I bet those pebbles are nice and warm. Those are very black cats. When we got Paladin as a kitten, we were planning to get a black cat, but ended up falling in love with a gray one.
Miraz Jordan @dejus They are very black cats. Their siblings were grey. They turn 17 in 2 days time though and are starting to show a few grey or white hairs here and there.
David Sinclair That’s an impressive age for a cat, more so two of them, and (presumably) indoor/outdoor ones too.
Miraz Jordan @dejus The other (unrelated) cat we had when we moved here lived to 19. I expect these two to go as long, though Ares is looking a bit old and stiff these days. Unfortunately circumstances when we moved here led to the cats living in a little outdoor house of their own. They're shut up at night but roam free during the day. The house is insulated, has a heater in winter, food and water of course, comfy beds.
David Sinclair sounds like a cozy situation for them, other than the limited access to human servants.
