NZ’s leading health professionals and relevant scientists are all saying we should go to Level 4 lockdown right now. We have 66 cases at the moment, and thankfully, zero deaths.
OK, this morning I’ve had my seasonal flu shot. The road was quieter than usual.
Hmmm, 11pm and I ought to be asleep.
Went with a friend to a cafe for breakfast this morning. Cafe capacity has been reduced(?) to 80 and we had to sign a register on arrival. Fair enough too. 🦠
I love the rare occasion when I meet online pals in real life. @JohnPhilpin visited today and I enjoyed our chat. Here we are giving each other space on the deck at my place. 😀 Nano micro meetup.
This 7 minute doco is something for our cat lovers: Fishing Cat: The Cat That Hunts Underwater. 🐈
Life in the mangroves of South Asia is difficult, but there’s one creature in this swamp that’s defying the odds, and our expectations at the same time. This is the Fishing Cat.
My favourite quote, now we’ve learned folks 70+ should stay home:
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters:
Winston Peters will continue business as usual in his role of Deputy PM despite being over 70.
Some fisher lost this, presumably crab pot.

The last numerous episodes of Legends of Tomorrow have been irritatingly sidetracked by silly old Constantine (pah!). S05E07 Romeo v Juliet, Dawn of Justness finally got it back to being the fun show it used to be. Hilariously chaotic and wonderful. Screenshot from link above.
So, Aotearoa New Zealand’s borders are closed to all except returning Kiwis.

how to set up a home office and balance work and home life for those not accustomed to it.
Heh, my partner and I often have a phonecall while she drives to or from work. I’ve realised ‘car metadata’ such as noise from turn signals, reversing beeps, engine noise, traffic sounds etc gives me a lot of info about where she is on her route. 🚗
