10 years ago I bought a Wacom Intuos 5 graphics tablet, upgrading from previous versions. Not for graphics, but because after a rough time getting used to it I much preferred it to mouse or touch pad. After several years when it hid in a drawer, I’ve rediscovered it. Aaahhh. 😀

The sun was low behind me; the hawk circling high in front of me. 🐦

Sasha has never really been the most cuddly dog. She seems to be changing her ways though. 🐶
Fears cultural significance of Matariki may be lost:
Matariki … is a period of solemn reflection, followed by a celebration of the present and looking ahead to the future. It is an appreciation for the earth, the ocean and the environment, and for looking to the stars.
Leigh Mayberry has very quirky language in her books, but still I usually enjoy them. Murderous Profits (Lost in Alaska Book 7). Looks like I skipped 5 & 6 after #4 disappointed. Perhaps I should go back to them… 📚
A couple of mornings ago I was making breakfast when I noticed the top half of the quail run door was open. I rushed out to check on the two girls, who fortunately were sitting happily minding their own business. I must have left the door open the previous afternoon! 🐦

Hey Kiwis, if you visit EECA’s tyre pressure tool it tells you what the tire pressure should be for your car. Enter your number plate and the recommended tyre pressure is shown.
10 minute video: Koko Ibaraki is a world class pole dancer at 50:
pole dancing remains a challenging feat of stamina, flexibility and an incredible amount of strength.
This is an actual sport that demands a phenomenal degree of athleticism. The video tuned up my attitudes!
Keyboard Maestro helps with so much on my Mac. Sometimes I want to have the Clipboard contents in front of me, so I made a macro. I put the clipboard in a variable so a further Copy while viewing the contents wouldn’t upset anything. Here I have the song list from a long video.

What a wonderful way to start a Tuesday morning! So energising! 2.25 hours of Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra Live in Apolo 2019 - Sandra Sangiao Last Concert - YouTube. Sandra Sangiao has a beautiful voice.
The problem with buying a tray of 30 eggs from the farm gate shop is when you’re trying to manage a single trip from the car to the house with multiple bags, in the rain. Today 3 eggs ‘escaped’. 😒
I enjoy this series, and just read the final 4 stories: Rachel Prince Cruise Ship Mysteries: Books 1-10. That is one unlucky cruise ship! 😆
Loving this morning’s random listen: Andalusian Spanish Arabic Music: الأنْدَلُس - YouTube.
I glimpsed this juvenile Kōtare, Sacred Kingfisher through the window, managed a couple of shots and then it took off. I love my 100–400 zoom camera lens. 🐦

It’s been a busy Sunday. Among other things, I cleaned out the old straw and sawdust from the quail run and topped up with a fresh coating. The quail were pretty stressed by the activity, but seem happy now, especially since they got an extra helping of dried mealworms. 🐦
I’ve signed up for this 30 minute New Zealand Glassworks Make a Paperweight Workshop for August. Deb did it back in June 2018 as a birthday present but logistics meant I couldn’t take part then. Finally I get to have a turn!
Today we saw an Air Force Heritage Flight of New Zealand flypast: the superlative Supermarine Spitfire and three modern Beechcraft T–6C Texan IIs. I thought they were simply flying along the hills then they turned and flew directly overhead.

Today, for the second time in our lives, we have become mortgage-free. We have no debt and everything that comes in now is ours. 🥳
I changed an account password today. Do you think I was too hasty?
