Hmmm, the power went off just before 6 pm and may come back on in a couple of hours, if we're lucky. Fortunately I'd already eaten dinner.
The new Portable Power Station is getting its first workout: charging a phone, watch and laptop. I hadn't expected it to be noisy — there's a fan running (or something).
David Johnson We are having the same problem here. The power has been out for 1½ hours now. Who knows when it’ll be back on 🤷🏼♂️

David Johnson The Pacific Electricity Appreciation Society 🤣 We'll have to notify @jean of this newly created Society. Our electricity came back on around 11:00pm, waking us up as all the lights that were on when the power went out....came on! 🙄

Paul Vittorino were you using the AC output on the power station? The inverter often has a fan for cooling. Only using the USB or 12v outputs would probably eliminate the need to run the fan.
Miraz Jordan @Vittorino Yes I did. I hadn't thought to give the thing a trial run and ended up using it during a power cut, in the dark, with no idea what I was doing. It worked though. 😀
