Where do recipe writers get their Prep times from? I reckon they must roll the dice. 10 minutes, pah! More like 40!

Yes! My experience too. It’s like if everything was pre-made times.

Sounds very plausible! Or, they found out that nobody wants to make their meals if they have actual prep times.

@Miraz i worked out it’s based on having all the ingredients out and cleaned / measured.

@styler That could work, perhaps. Today the step of making the sauce took well more than 10 minutes and there was much chopping etc before that.
