Miraz Jordan @alexink I was a little sceptical in the first episode as Candice comes across (deliberately) as a ditz but it quickly became a favourite.
Jean MacDonald @alexink The opening credits are heavy-handed (“Can you believe it? She is a mom AND a police officer simultaneously. Incroyable!” — that is how they come across to me.) And she never gives up her signature hot pink accessories. But I adore this show and the cast.

Alexandra And The Chelsea Detective too. I love these kind of crime shows, with the snark, humour, without the violence.
Miraz Jordan @alexink I haven't watched any of The Chelsea Detective. May give it a go later. Just started watching a show on Prime called Sweet Kaaram Coffee about 3 women in one family in India who are fed up with their men controlling them and who take off on a road trip.
Alexandra Oh, you should give it a go, I really enjoyed it. They're on season 2 already. Oh, and that one sounds like fun too, but I don't have Prime.

Miraz Jordan @alexink Drat. Yes, that's the name of the show and the name of the lead detective. It's originally in French with English subtitles. If you have a VPN you could try logging in to your Acorn account via another country…
Alexandra Oh, that's annoying. I did a deep search and nope, we don't get it. Which is odd, because, as French speaking province, we get a lot of French content. I'll have to email them and ask.
