Seems a bit woo-woo but sometime last night while I was asleep my little battlers announced to my brain that they’d defeated whatever infection this has been. And indeed, I feel different today — definitely getting better at last. Negative Covid test again; symptoms partly match cold, flu and Covid.

The latest variant has so many similar symptoms to regular flu, it is very hard to distinguish. Often RATs return negative, but a follow-on PCR confirms. For a large part of February, I was down with it.

@purisubzi It's been less than a week and I'm already totally fed up with it. I can't imagine being down for a month! Must have been awful.

that's interesting, sometimes when I've been ill, I've totally had a sense of turning the corner, and there does seem to be a mental component to it. Was this a dream, or just a thought that came to your mind, or something else?

@annahavron I'm not sure. I think I was asleep at the time and it was like a knowing. I guess at some point the physical body has enough change in it — viral load amounts or something — that the mind can detect the change. My recovery is taking its time though.
