Kimberly Hirsh There's a way to write without losing any of the evocativeness and still be better. I know some luminaries of self-publishing are all, "Seriously, pay for an editor," and now I see why.
Kimberly Hirsh @JohnPhilpin I mean to say that if all this descriptive detail is important, it can be included (in separate sentences, at other points in the story) and the prose still clarified.
