Dame Ngaio Marsh (1895 – 1982) … known as one of the “Queens of Crime”… primarily for her character Inspector Roderick Alleyn, gentleman detective who works for the Metropolitan Police (London).

Odd-Egil “Oddzthrash” Auran I’ve never heard of her before, but sounds like she was one of the greats.
I read some of the Wikipedia article, and found that there was a reference to a 1937(!) article. It made me think that there might be tons of articles written on many subjects for - now centennia, that can shed light on things discovered, then forgot…
Miraz Jordan @odd When I was a small kid I remember mum reading some of her books. I remember it because I could make no sense of how to pronounce Ngaio. It's actually easy. Take the mashed-up n and g sounds from a word like ‘singing’ and then say I and Oh.
