Well the good thing about having to get up to let Sasha out at 1 am is that I was able to load more wood into the wood burner. With a freezing southerly storm outside it’s good to be toasty.

it’s an interesting world. I’m sitting outside this evening. It’s 26 degrees but I have a campfire going because it’s Canada Day and my brother and his family are visiting soon. We’ll have fireworks when it gets dark around 10:00. Stay warm.

@Stevsmit Sounds great! I'm actually now at noon sitting in sun in the lounge with the north-facing front door wide open and no fire. I also have several layers of winter woolies on, but it's fairly pleasant actually. 10C outside, 19C inside.

that sounds really nice. No woollies here for a couple months I hope. We also very seldom sit facing north; different perspectives, eh?

@Stevsmit Yes, I forget that the northern hemisphere is ‘upside down and back to front’. 😀
