Good to see this plan to make NZ predator free by 2050
Department of Conservation … goals for Predator Free 2050… focus on … possums, … rats, stoats, ferrets and weasels.
That’s a great start. I wonder how it will affect rabbits? We have so many unwanted predators here.
Yorrike We need to introduce foxes to eat the rabbits. And then cougars to to eat the foxes, and then gorillas to eat the cougars, and finally introduce a pathogen to kill the gorillas. It’s a fool proof plan.
(Yes, the rabbit problem is going to be really interesting. May need to use viruses)
